Currently, I am a doctoral candidate at the University of Pennsylvania studying the behavioral and genomic basis of social effects of microbial infections. Establishing this new research focus in my advisor's lab has been a wonderful learning experiece. I have gained many practical skills such as project mangement, development of novel and sustainable solutions, and shaping and execution of novel ideas.

Outside of research, I am an active member of the graduate student community. Currently, I am the President of the Biology Graduate Student Association managing my team for enhance the graduate student life experience. In past, I have been a  Co-Chair of a student-led mental wellness policy advocacy group on Penn's campus for 2 years and also organized a regional conference. This experiences have added to my organizational and communication skills.

My experience, both from and outside of research lab, have shaped my love for interacting with people, building creative solutions, and having a community engagement.
